URW Sound Editor

Before proceeding, make sure to backup your SOUND#.SND files from your URW directory!

Installation:
Unzip archive into a folder of your choice.

Exporting sounds from URW:
Copy all SOUND#.SND files from your URW directory into this folder.
Double click on export.bat to export all sounds to wav files.
This will also create text files SOUND#.SND.TXT that contain the file names minus the extension of the sounds from the SND file
Now you can edit your exported sounds with your favorite editor.

Importing sounds to URW:
Make sure all wav files are mono 8 bit, 22050 Hz
create a text file containing the names of the wav files to import minus their extensions. Reusing the SOUND#.SND.TXT file is recommended.
Run urwsndeditor.exe -i # filename , where # is the number of the sound file to import into, and filename is the name of the file containing a list of wav files.
Double clicking import all.bat will import all sounds.  This is not recommended.
Copy your new SOUND#.SND file over the one in your URW directory
Play the game and enjoy your modified sounds.
